In a remarkable bit of news, the newly re-branded Lucasfilm Games (ever LucasArts to some of us) is working with Bethesda to create a new Indiana Jones game.
Promising “an original story” this is thrilling news for Indy fans. I hope it isn’t in conjunction with the recently announced Indy 5 movie, because a game attached to a film always suffers, in my opinion. It can’t have it’s own narrative and a game play that makes sense if it’s restricted.
If ever there were a franchise which lends itself to unique adventure tales, it’s the Indiana Jones series.
Very exciting in any case! I’ll be analyzing everything on that desk while we wait.
