This certainly comes as a surprise. My first thoughts are that the poor players and developers who have created and lived in Sony’s online worlds for so long will be losing their livelihoods and their virtual homes as a result of it.
I wonder if Sony has been shopped around for sale for awhile and that is why Everquest Next was announced then disappeared into the ether.
